TRELDA TSHECHHU IN WANGTHANG GONPA

This auspicious ceremony marks the birth anniversary of the Guru Rinpoche, the lotus born. The annual Wangthang Tshechu is held for three days from the 8th day of 5th lunar month. The 8th day of every fifth month ritual ceremony marks the parinirvana day of Previous Wangthang Rinpoche and is done in accordance with Lama Rigzin Düpa from the 8th to the 10th day of the every 5th lunar month. During the Tshechu, few mask dances are performed and special feast practices are being offered.

ZHINGDRUP AND DORSEM PRACTICE

Dechen Zhing Drub is the two days ceremony and Dorsem Tshechu is a day ceremony based on the Nyingthig Dorsem Ngönga. Both are held annually for three days which is at the beginning of 2nd day of the sixth lunar month. This ceremony is being performed to purify the negativity of all sentient beings. The Dorsem Tshechu was particularly organized on request of Lama Gyalwang Nyima who was the Rinpoche’s uncle.

TSHEPAGMED RITUAL

Tshepamae Chöpa is a one day ritual ceremony based on the Drukpa Kargyu Ritual. This ceremony is held annually on 10th day of 8th lunar month.
